Mr Frank Van Goethem, Financial Director at Sogent

The Ghent municipal development authority sogent converts the former Garage Mahy in the center of Ghent into a modern and architectural hot spot for innovation and meeting. Around a central and covered inner square, the central area will provide space for multimedia companies. Events, catering businesses, and, if necessary, some shops can also be housed on this multimedia site.

The circus will be renovated in a smart way: with only a minimum of technically necessary changes, respecting the rich history of the building and its raw appearance. Thus creating maximum and flexible opportunities with little changes. The whole area around the circus gets a new lease of life. Around this project piers, squares, bridges and a new building are constructed. The new building will house a public library and a living lab for new media.
