A survey was conducted among the members of the Flanders Ghent Development Group after the succesful organisation of MIPIM 2008. It clearly showed that the partners consider their participation in MIPIM very meaningful. Therefore we will once again hire a booth in the festival palace for the 2009 edition.
The concept and pricing is based on 30 partners. The 66m² stand at the fair is strategically well placed in zone B/niveau 01 amongst the Belgium exhibitors and will provide the partners with an appropriate exposure.
Once again, professional catering will be offered on the stand.
The surface and location of the stand may be the same as the previous years, but the interior of the MIPIM booth will be completely remade for 2009.
The MIPIM-fair celebrates its 20th birthday in 2009. The Flanders Ghent Development Group joins the fair’s organisers in the jubilee celebration and launches a new concept for its booth with an investment horizon of three years.

We want to offer visitors a true experience of the ‘community of Ghent’. Therefore communication is of key importance. Visitors to the fair do not always have the time to personally discover the opportunities in Ghent. This is why they come to MIPIM. The new stand with an inviting atmosphere and thick carpeting creates an environment for interaction with the stand’s visitors. The public and private sector can talk to eachother at the spacious table that offers seating for 16 to 20 people.
The easy chairs with side tables offer the possibility to hold more discrete conversations.
The location of Ghent and the Ghent region, the projects and partners’ logos are communicated by means of a professional and eye-catching video presentation on a flat screen wall extending over the entire wall.
Flanders Ghent Development Group is enlisting the services of a communication- and technical partner who will work out the architectural concept of John Bontinck in a very professional manner.
